The Company Our client is a a leading Australian brand with a growing international footprint, now seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join their Brisbane head office. This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-impact in-house legal role, supporting a dynamic consumer business operating across key global markets including Australia, North America, Europe, and Asia. The Opportunity This is a broad and hands-on role offering exposure to a variety of legal and commercial work. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, providing practical legal advice that supports strategic decision-making, operational efficiency, and brand protection in a fast-paced and evolving industry. Key Responsibilities Manage and enforce a global IP portfolio (trade marks, designs, copyright) Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts across supply, logistics, marketing, IT, and more Advise on advertising, influencer campaigns, and promotional activity across multiple jurisdictions Support regulatory compliance, including labelling, packaging and product standards Provide guidance on privacy and data protection frameworks (AU, US, EU) Manage insurance coverage and claims processes Coordinate external legal providers and streamline internal legal operations About You We’re looking for a commercially astute and collaborative legal professional who brings: 7 years’ post-admission experience (private practice and/or in-house) Strong commercial drafting skills and the ability to work autonomously IP, privacy or consumer law experience (highly regarded) Strong interpersonal and communication skills A pragmatic, solutions-focused mindset with excellent attention to detail What’s on Offer Brisbane head office in a vibrant inner-city location Car parking and employee product perks Exposure to international legal work and a global brand environment Down-to-earth and high-performing team culture Apply Now If you’re looking for a role where no two days are the same and you can make a visible impact, we’d love to hear from you.
