An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Leasing Paralegal to join a well established law firm. This autonomous role works closely with a Senior Associate and will suit someone confident in managing leasing matters end to end.
The Role
You will support a busy practice acting for both landlords and tenants as a Leasing Paralegal. You will be managing retail shop leasing files as well as commercial leasing files.
Key responsibilities include:
* Reviewing leases
* Drafting and preparing lease documentation and associated agreements
* Managing lease registrations and post‐completion requirements
* Liaising directly with clients
* Negotiation of leasing clauses
* Matter management and general file management duties
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* 2+ years experience as a Leasing Paralegal
* Strong exposure to retail leasing matters
* Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
* Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail
* Confidence dealing directly with clients and stakeholders
The Firm/Salary
The client is a well-established, progressive law firm where you will report to a Senior Associate, and you can work autonomously. Salary negotiable dependent upon experience (between $90,000 - $100,000 + Super).
