Grange Resources Tasmania is on the lookout for a Undergraduate Accountant to join our operation in Burnie.
We are currently seeking a motivated Finance Undergraduate (Accountant) to join our team on a fixed-term, part-time contract (2 years) as part of our Finance Undergraduate Development Program.
While this position is offered on a part-time fixed term basis, there may be potential for it to evolve into a longer-term opportunity depending on individual performance and future business needs.
Day to day In this role you will be responsible for: Assisting with accounts payable and receivable processing Supporting month-end and year-end financial reporting Financial Accounting – learn about compliance and other accounting practices performed for an ASX listed company Accounts Payable - learn about business-to-business transactions processing Operational Accounting - exposure to cost accounting and business analysis, interact with our operations teams Purchasing and Supply Chain – learn about purchasing and sourcing activities and inventory management Sales and Shipping – dealing with international transactions, including shipping functions Who you are To be successful in this role you have: Currently studying an undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar Available to commit to a part-time schedule over a 2-year period A strong communicator and team player Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple tasks Team player with a can-do attitude A positive approach to your work and your work environment Who we are We're Grange Resources, Australia's oldest and most experienced magnetite producer - combining both mining and pellet production expertise.
