Details: The Ministerial and Government Services Team is seeking an individual with sound knowledge and experience of Cabinet and Assembly processes to fill the position of Assistant Cabinet Liaison Officer until30 June
As a team within the Government, Ministerial and Assembly Business Branch, the Ministerial and Government Services team operates in a fast-paced work environment across the Health and Community Services Directorate. The team supports the Health and Community Services Directorate Executive, is customer focused and delivers timely and high-level advice, quality control and coordination.
The Assistant Cabinet Liaison Officer:
* Supports the management of a proactive cabinet agenda.
* Acts as a point of contact between the directorate, Cabinet Office, Ministers' Offices and other directorates.
* Undertakes Cabinet and ministerial processes.
* Coordinates the confidential management of Cabinet documents.
* Prepares detailed forecasts and reports.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience in governance and/or experience working within the structure of the ACT services and government business process is highly desirable.
Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately until the end of June 2026 with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency.
A merit pool or merit list will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
