Your New Role
As the IT Infrastructure Administrator, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the organisation's IT infrastructure. You'll be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of systems and networks. Your day-to-day job will involve system administration, user support, network maintenance, and collaboration with internal teams and external vendors. You'll also contribute to disaster recovery planning, security compliance, and IT project execution.
Key responsibilities include:
* Maintaining and updating servers and infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code.
* Monitoring system health and resolving issues proactively.
* Administering AWS and Microsoft 365 environments.
* Managing data backups, disaster recovery, and security compliance.
* Providing timely IT support and training to internal users.
* Coordinating with vendors for hardware procurement and maintenance.
* Ensuring compliance with ISMS and confidentiality standards.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* Proven experience in IT infrastructure administration.
* Strong expertise in AWS
* Strong experience in Microsoft 365 (including InTune).
* Solid understanding of operating systems, server hardware, networking, and security protocols.
* Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell preferred) and Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
