We are currently seeking a Specialist - Parts Identification who will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and governance of parts identification within the Asset Maintenance Strategy. This will include managing formal change requests, ensuring the identification and availability of critical parts and contributing to the development of a comprehensive and reliable maintenance strategy that supports the operational integrity of plant and equipment.
Duties will include:
* Reviewing OEM and Vendor documentation to establish a comprehensive list of operational, insurance and commissioning spares.
* Evaluating parts recommendations and requests to ensure compliance with operational and commissioning needs suitability.
* Converting supplier parts descriptions into Client-specified naming conventions and nomenclature to ensure consistency when entered into the CMMS, enabling accurate search and effective parts management.
* Creating parts data sheet with correct Client-specified naming conventions and nomenclature ready for cataloguing.
* Liaising with Vendors and OEMs to obtain any missing/incorrect parts details.
* Engaging with key stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts to validate parts identification as required.
It is essential that applicants possess the following:
* Experience with documentation storage services i.e. Aconex.
* Intermediate level Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
* Parts interpretation identification experience in mining or heavy industry.
