Controlling Power is a switchboard manufacturing business focusing on Australian manufacturing of power switchboards and distribution boards. Our management have decades of experience in this industry and sit on various committees and industry bodies.
We are located in Somersby on the Central Coast.
We are actively involved in introducing new designs and products into the market providing our company with advantages in our market segments.
The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic person to work in our assembly team.
* Read and interpret electrical manufacturing drawings.
* Assemble modular cabinets.
* Fabrication of copper busbars.
* Wiring and installation of control cabling and metering.
* Full time 76 hour fortnight with the opportunity for overtime. 4 day week.
Skills and experience needed
* Must have experience with assembly and manufacture of LV Switchboards. (minimum 2 years)
* Strong understanding of circuit breakers and power equipment, wiring etc.
* Good knowledge of metering principles.
* An ability to work in a team.
* Enthusiastic outlook to improving procedures
* Must be an Australian resident or with permanent status and no limitation or work.
* Must have own transport.
