About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Worker – Crane Plant Operator to join our team in Armidale. This role does not require an electrical qualification/trade.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of activities assisting with the installation, construction, and maintenance of energy distribution, utility, and telecommunication infrastructure.
Responsibilities include operating vehicles and equipment, delivering resources, providing customer service, and ensuring safety and compliance with company procedures and regulations. This role also involves participating in audits and safety processes, conducting basic in-service testing and inspections, and applying safety and environmental training.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operating various types of machinery and equipment
* Delivering resources and materials to designated locations
* Providing excellent customer service and support
* Maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to regulatory requirements
* Participating in regular audits and safety processes
Requirements:
* Enterprise Skill Sets at the AQF 2 level or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and relevant qualifications
* Driver's Licence
* WorkCover NSW Construction Induction Certificate
* Attainment and ongoing successful maintenance of all regulatory, industry, and business-required licenses, authorisations, and other certificates necessary for the role
* HR Truck Licence
About You
You have a strong understanding of safety and environmental requirements and proven experience operating relevant vehicles and equipment. You excel in team environments, possess basic computer skills, and have good written and verbal communication abilities. You are committed to continuous learning and applying safety and environmental standards in all tasks.
You will have a sound mechanical aptitude, with a working knowledge of safe plant and equipment operations across a variety of different types of machinery.
