About the role
The main responsibilities of this role are:
* Discovery, qualification, and selection of tenders, such as small to large greenfield projects and refurbishments and upgrades
* Accurate, professional, and timely tender submissions
* Meet and maintain pipeline targets
* Assist with concept design of systems for estimating
* Preparation of equipment schedules and selection
* Negotiation and review of pricing from sub‐contractors and suppliers
* Relationship management with existing and potential client base
Key selection criteria
* Mechanical/HVAC background is a must
* Extensive knowledge of HVAC Industry and relevant building codes
* Minimum 2 years' experience in HVAC project estimation in Australia – Essential
* Thorough knowledge and understanding of Australian Standards and BCA
* Proven experience excelling in a similar position
* Experience and ability in electrical estimating, preferred but not essential
* Exceptional all round communication skills
* High degree of computer literacy
* Meticulous attention to detail and high level of accuracy
* Ability to prioritise, manage deadlines and work well under pressure
* Strong time management
