Ear Nurse (Registered Nurse) / Audiometrist / AudiologistWe have a great opportunity for a Registered Nurse or Audiometrist or Audiologist or Student Audiologist or Audiometrist to join our team based in Devonport and work at the pre-eminent Microsution Earwax Removal Clinic of Tasmania, in spectacular Tasmania. Pristine Hearing (Comfort Clean Ear) although quite young is also a thriving Audiology clinic with an experienced team and a very well established client base.We are always on the lookout for great talent who want to make a positive difference to their patients' lives and with the freedom to speak up and make real practical changes to our company. If you would like to be a part of an Audiology Clinic on the cutting edge we our focus is on good Patient outcomes and experiences instead of arbitrary sales targets, we'd love to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesYou would need to:Have exceptional customer service, best-side manner, communication, and organisational skills (essential)Thrive under pressure and keep a level-headed mind in these situations.Have experience in administration and customer service.Enjoy taking ownership of responsibilities and working in a collaborative environment.Be quick to learn new systems and technologies.Be proficient in using a computer.Have some experience assisting patients or family or friends with hearing aids (not essential).Be willing to learn microsuction earwax removal and provide patients with immediate relief from impacted earwax.Be willing to upskill to assist the Audiologist with seeing Audiology patients in the delivery of hearing assessments and hearing aid fittings (for Registered Nurses who apply) or see Audiology patients independently (for Audiometrists or Student Audiometrists who apply).Take pride in their presentation and the appearance of their workspace.Have a caring persona.Show evidence of working for a previous company for at least 3 years.Provide exemplary patient care and maintain a positive disposition in the face of challenges.Be willing to travel to our visiting site in Launceston at least once a week (a driver's license is essential).Be willing to commence employment in early to mid May. Depending on skillset, training of up to 3 weeks in Perth (WA) followed by 1 week training in Devonport will be required.Would suit a registered nurse looking to expand their skillset and who wants to move away from community or hospital care.
