Family Therapy Role
The Family Therapist will provide family therapy utilizing the FFT-CW model to client families where a child/ren are referred due to protection risk and imminent likelihood of out-of-home care placement.
This is a part-time 19 hours per week fixed-term contract opportunity within our Children Youth and Families Program based in Queanbeyan NSW.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide family therapy sessions utilizing the FFT-CW model.
* Work with client families to reduce risk and improve family dynamics.
* Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for client families.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Aboriginal Health Worker, Community Welfare Worker, or Master of Counselling.
* Postgraduate training in relevant child adolescent and family clinical practice family therapy and systemic thinking is strongly preferred.
* Clinical experience working with families adolescents strongly preferred.
