Our organization is seeking a skilled Territory Manager to join our sales team. This role involves promoting Advanced Surgical Technologies, General Surgical Technologies and Obesity Metabolic Health portfolio to key surgeons and clinical staff within the region.
About the Position:
* Promotes and sells Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customers.
* Accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
* Develops, builds, and strengthens long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals.
* Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize benefits from Medtronic's products and/or services.
* Promotes education of company's products and/or services.
* Conducts market research on customers and competitors activities.
* Implements market development plans/strategies and makes necessary adjustments.
* Communicates customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing.
We are looking for someone with strong understanding of the Australian public and private healthcare system and experience working within Operating Theatres.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A Bachelor's degree in Science, Nursing or Business related discipline.
* Proven sales experience selling into hospitals with a successful track record in medical devices.
* Solid clinical knowledge with ability to build strong working relationships with key surgeons and other medical staff.
* Self-motivated with resilient attitude who strives to exceed customer expectations and deliver outstanding results.
