AWX are seeking a variety of experienced Civil Labourers, Road & Maintenance Crew & Mobile Plant Operators for work opportunities across multiple Projects in Cairns & surrounding areas, with some roles requiring an immediate start. A main requirement is for people who fit our culture with a positive "CAN DO" attitude and be self-motivated.
ROLES AVAILABLE
Civil Labourers with Confined Space
Pipelayers
Civil Leading Hands
Road and Maintenance crew
Excavator Operators (36T & 50T)
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
• Previous experience in civil construction within pipelaying, drainage and or road maintenance/upgrade is highly regarded
• Minimum C Class Drivers licence and own reliable transport
• MR Drivers Licence or above is essential for some roles
• Construction White Card
• RII tickets and experience in relevant machines
• Physically fit and capable for manual duties
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to undertake & pass a pre-employment medical, physical and D&A
• Ability to work long hours
• Flexibility for potential work away from home as per project requirements
• A quick learner who can think on their feet
• Reliable and flexible
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work unsupervised and with others
