Salary $80,000 - $90,000 + Super pa
The Opportunity
Our Client based in Bassendean is seeking a capable and friendly Administration Officer to support their operations across office administration, accounts, and personnel support.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in being organised, and thrives in a supportive, small team-based environment.
You'll play a key role in keeping the office running smoothly while working closely with managers, the Group Financial Controller, suppliers, and staff.
What You'll Be Doing
Accounts Administration
Entering and maintaining accurate financial information in Reckon
Reconciling credit and fuel card statements with purchase receipts
Enter, prepare, and review weekly and monthly accounts payables.
Prepare purchase orders and invoices; maintain and reconcile accounts receivable.
Handle debt collection for overdue invoices, ensuring timely follow-up on all accounts receivable.
Process accounts payable for approximately ***** active suppliers and manage one-line accounts receivable invoices, with detailed progress claims completed monthly by engineers.
Assist with basic financial reporting, including cost reports when required
Human Resources & Personnel Support
Entering weekly timesheets for wage personnel
Preparing employment details and onboarding documentation for new starters
Coordinating PPE procurement and distribution for staff and wage personnel
Assisting with pre-employment medicals, inductions, and training coordination
Maintaining strict confidentiality of all employee and payroll information
Office & General Administration
Managing day-to-day office administration, records and ad-hoc administrative tasks
Providing administrative support to managers as required
Coordinating office supplies, equipment and IT administration
Maintaining digital and physical filing systems
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in administration or office support (3+ years preferred)
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and using accounting software such as Reckon or similar.
Professional, reliable, and able to manage confidential information
A positive, "can-do" attitude with a team-first mindset
