Concrete Production Manager
We are seeking experienced leaders to fill two roles in our new high-output site. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of concrete production processes and plant equipment. This is a full-time position with 12-hour rotating shifts, including days and nights.
The role involves running batching and loading equipment with speed and precision, coordinating with the project manager and site teams to meet daily production targets, making smart decisions that directly impact plant performance, and leading safety by example through conversations, coaching, and a strong safety culture.
A key aspect of this role is optimizing cycle times through the plant, overseeing maintenance, conducting site meetings, and contributing to operational discussions. Building strong relationships with clients and monitoring mixer performance and maintaining top-tier quality control are also essential responsibilities.
To succeed in this role, you should be a natural leader who motivates teams and consistently hits targets. You should have a solid understanding of concrete production processes and plant equipment, as well as a strong safety mindset with experience enforcing WHS protocols. Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a high-performing team are also required.
Experience using Dorner batch control systems is highly desirable, as is experience with wet batch plants. Relevant tickets and qualifications, such as a White Card and forklift license, are also beneficial. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, lead from the front, and can manage people, production, and safety, we want to hear from you.
This is an equal opportunity employer, welcoming applications from people of all backgrounds. We encourage applicants from diverse cultural backgrounds, the LGBTQI+ community, and those with disability.
