Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced mechanic to work with leading-edge equipment and provide exceptional service to our customers.
This role involves maintaining, repairing, and servicing road transport equipment in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and repair orders. The ideal candidate will have excellent diagnostic and analytical skills, including software-based diagnostics, and be able to write clear and concise service reports.
About the Role:
* Maintain and repair road transport equipment to ensure quality, safety, and performance standards are met.
* Service and repair all makes of trucks, including Cummins, MX PACCAR, CAT, Detroit Diesel, and MTU engines.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their needs are met.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Trades qualified (Australian Recognised Heavy Vehicle Mechanics).
* Excellent team player with good communication skills.
* Customer-focused with a commitment to correct OH&S practices.
* Experience with general servicing, diagnostics, and analytical skills, including software-based diagnostics.
