Clermont Open Cut is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Maintenance Planner / Scheduler to join our Planning & Reliability team on site. Located on the western edge of the Bowen Basin, Clermont Open Cut is a high performing truck & shovel operation that produces 12 million tonnes of coal per annum. Clermont Open Cut Operation is a safe and inclusive workplace focused on delivering high performance outcomes. Reporting to the Planning & Reliability Superintendent, this role will offer variety and opportunity to the right individual.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Developing, maintaining and providing clearly structured plans and deliverables for implementation through the execution teamScheduling heavy mobile plant works, including sourcing labour requirementsEnsuring plans meet availability requirementsEnsuring work is executed within monthly budget structuresPromoting innovation and operational enhancements to achieve high performance outcomesDriving performance, safety and productivity of relevant plant and equipment through process improvementEngaging with maintenance personnel and key stakeholders to ensure a ‘hands-on’ approach towards the planning of maintenance workloads
Requirements of the role include:
2+ years’ experience in maintenance planning or schedulingStrong communication skills with the ability to establish positive relationships with internal and external stakeholdersSignificant experience in computerised maintenance systems (SAP) will be highly regardedProficient use of Microsoft Office Suites, including Excel and ProjectQLD Drivers Licence
This role requires a safety conscious candidate prepared to challenge the norm, drive continuous improvement and who can demonstrate experience in implementing best practise using a hands-on approach.
