With decades of international experience in high-speed rail, station precinct planning, and transportation-led development, we help cities unlock the value of mobility infrastructure.
We are currently seeking a Transit Oriented Development (TOD) SME to support the planning, analysis, and development of station precincts for a major high-speed rail program.
Responsibilities
* Conduct TOD analysis for high-speed rail station precincts, assessing land-use integration, accessibility, and commercial development opportunities.
* Develop recommendations and activate strategies to stimulate early economic, social, and commercial development around station areas.
* Identify opportunities to enhance connectivity, urban integration, and sustainable development aligned with station planning.
* Collaborate closely with station designers, urban planners, property development specialists, and operational teams.
* Provide expert input on pedestrian accessibility, transport interchange integration, and multimodal connections.
* Support the preparation of TOD technical documentation, reports, and planning studies.
* Manage interfaces with HSRA, local councils, and public authorities as required.
* Contribute to station-area visioning, master planning, and development frameworks.
Qualifications
* Extensive experience in Transit-Oriented Development, urban planning, station precinct planning, or integrated land-use/transportation development.
* Strong understanding of high-density, mixed-use development principles and mobility-led urban planning.
* Experience with urban analytics, economic feasibility assessment, and development strategy.
* Knowledge of accessibility planning, multimodal interchanges, and pedestrian movement principles.
* Degree in Urban Planning, Property Development, Architecture, Transport Planning, or related field.
* Experience in large-scale transport infrastructure or station precinct projects is desirable.
* Strong communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.
* Willingness to relocate to Australia.
