Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Centre Manager, you will be responsible for the operations and risk management of a portfolio of centres to ensure optimum investment return. Additionally, you will manage key relationships with tenants and service providers, while also making recommendations to improve the overall performance of the assets. Managing budgets effectively, contributing to investment plans, and controlling costs and expenditure will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities include:
Ensuring building compliance is proactively managed to meet legislative requirements.
Undertaking regular re-tendering of service contracts, reviewing specifications and role requirements considering best practices.
Managing on-site contractors daily.
Maintaining the high standard presentation and daily operations of the asset, including security, maintenance, and safety.
Developing strong relationships with stakeholders, including tenants, clients, contractors, and colleagues.
Reviewing monthly operating expenditure against budget.
Collaborating with the Centre General Manager to produce monthly client reports.
Ensuring all planned preventative maintenance is executed as scheduled, maintaining plant and equipment to high standards.
Focusing on sustainability improvements and adding value through operational efficiencies.
Managing capital expenditure projects.
Qualifications and Skills
We seek candidates with:
Experience in a similar role with knowledge of shopping centre operations.
Strong time management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively.
Experience with computer-based building maintenance and management systems.
Ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
This role requires a commercially savvy individual within the retail/centre management industry who can add value and manage daily operations efficiently.
