Senior Administration Officer – Cancer Services Team Lead

About The Role
Are you ready to lead with purpose and make a real impact? We're looking for a dynamic and highly organised Admin Team Leader to oversee the administrative operations of the Orange Health Service Outpatient Cancer Services Clinic in Orange, NSW.
You'll work in the heart of a dedicated multidisciplinary team, ensuring the clinic runs smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with Medicare and legislation. If you're passionate about leadership, administration excellence, and contributing to patient-centred care, this could be the career move you've been waiting for.
What You'll Be Doing
* Oversee the day-to-day administration and accounting functions of the Outpatients Clinic.
* Implement and improve administrative procedures and billing pathways, including Medicare billing and accounts payable.
* Ensure equipment and resources are maintained for optimal clinic function.
* Work closely with Staff Specialists and Medical Administration to support service delivery, visiting specialist contracts, and medico-legal compliance.
* Manage and develop a high-performing admin team – from recruitment and rostering to training, reviews and performance management.
* Coordinate TESL (Training, Education and Study Leave) applications and trust fund disbursements.
* Promote and maintain Work Health & Safety compliance, including incident reporting, risk assessments, and emergency procedures.
* Build and sustain internal and external stakeholder relationships to enhance clinic operations.
* Lead audit processes and drive continuous improvement across the service.
What We're Looking For
* A proactive leader with strong organisational and communication skills.
* Demonstrated experience in administration, ideally in a healthcare setting.
* Knowledge of Medicare billing, WH&S regulations, and administrative compliance.
* A collaborative and resilient approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and lead a team in a dynamic clinical environment.
