Healthcare Australia (HCA) is a national organisation providing various direct and indirect (staffing) services to the Healthcare Sector. We are currently seeking skilled Support Workers to work directly with our clients in Illawarra, South Coast, Southern Highlands, Wollondilly Shire, and Goulburn areas.
About The Role
As a dedicated Support Worker, you will support clients with Mental Health, Intellectual, and Physical Disabilities. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
* Supporting a variety of shifts (AM/PM), including short (minimum 3 hours) and long shifts (up to 8-10 hours), sleepovers, awake duties, and weekends. Flexibility to accept short notice shifts is essential.
* Assisting participants with personal care and household tasks such as menu planning, cooking, serving meals, cleaning, shopping, and other daily activities.
* This is a casual, on-call agency role managed through the HCA app, where you can submit timesheets and manage your availability.
To Be Successful In This Role, Highly Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
* Certificate III in Individual Support - Disability
* Minimum 6 months paid experience as a Support Worker
* Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination doses
* Current Working with Children (WWCC) & NDIS Worker Check
* National Police Check
* Driver's Licence
* A strong sense of professional boundaries
* Flexibility to accept shifts on short notice
