What You'll Be Doing:
* Install, upgrade, and configure Oracle databases across environments
* Monitor and optimise database performance, tune SQL queries for maximum efficiency
* Manage backups and implement robust recovery strategies
* Apply security patches and manage database updates
* Handle user access, roles, and security permissions
* Maintain accurate database documentation
* Support high availability and disaster recovery solutions
* Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to align on database needs
* Automate tasks using Shell, Python, PL/SQL, or similar scripting languages
What We're Looking For:
* 5+ years of hands-on Oracle Database Administration experience
* Strong command of SQL, PL/SQL, RMAN, and Oracle Enterprise Manager
* Experience with backup and recovery planning
* Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AWS, or Azure
* Expertise in troubleshooting and performance tuning
* Understanding of ITIL practices or prior experience in ITIL-driven environments
* Working knowledge of Unix/Linux systems
* Exposure to DevOps tools like Ansible or Terraform for automation
* Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification
* Baseline security clearance is mandatory for this role
