Job Description
* Takes care of the arrival and departure processes for guests in compliance with internal procedures
* Maintains excellent relations with the Welcomer, ensuring their activities complement each other
* Informs guests about the formalities, any particular conditions relating to their stay and the services available
* Handles phone calls Passes on information as necessary to other departments (Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage etc.) and to other members of the front desk team
* Ensures that all guest documentation is up-to-date and available
* To ensure on a daily basis that you are fully aware of all arrivals to the Hotel, and in particular, VIP's and return guests, and that you are aware of any special requests so that they may be acted accordingly.
* To maintain and be aware of the importance of guest recognition
* To Ensure that Frond Desk Counter is not left unattended at any time whilst on duty
Qualifications
* Vocational diploma or degree in hospitality or related field
* Previous experience as a receptionist
* Computer literate (Windows environment), PMS (Opera), Tars online and an aptitude for new technologies
* Languages: fluent in the national language, English and a 3rd language would be a plus
