We've got a number of big-ticket projects in the pipeline that will reshape Australia's investment landscape and are looking for a B2C Marketer who understands the industry to help drive them forward. **Who we are looking for?**
We need a B2C marketer with up-to-date working knowledge of financial markets and investing who gets excited at the thought of growing digital traffic exponentially. We'll help bring you up to speed and fill any gaps you have in your knowledge, but within a short period of time we expect you to understand the industry and our business, and comfortably take ownership of our marketing.
Your major skill-set will be your ability to go seriously deep into the data, numbers and nuance of our industry, translating your insights into fresh, interesting and highly targeted initiatives that drive engagement to our site.
When it comes to creative execution you will be supported by a team of world-class writers and content creators, so your personal traditional 'creativity' is less important than your ability to analyse, test and measure.
Part of the challenge is that we have a long list of innovations and new products we are rolling out, so balancing the 'day-to-day' marketing demands of a highly competitive industry with our own evolution within it will be difficult - but should excite you.
**What will you be doing?**
Your priority will be growing our B2C member base. Your past experience will allow you to develop a marketing plan, which is data-driven and clearly communicates your approach to achieving your audience growth objectives. Your plan will also include a few foundational pieces which require immediate definition:
- Highly segmented Target Audience Analysis
- Highly detailed Competitor Analysis
- Clearly defined B2C growth goals and objectives
With these foundations set, it will be your responsibility to plan, execute and track the initiatives and tactics that will help us get there. It's worth noting this definitely isn't a digital-only role; our industry involves a mix of traditional events, sponsorships and industry associations - so PR and content will feature heavily, as will your willingness to build relationships, shake hands and work hand-in-hand with our Partnerships team.
We are open to considering all executional channels, but we expect everything to be measurable back to one of our goals. You will be responsible for defining and owning these marketing metrics, reporting regularly on what has worked and what hasn't, and adjusting your plan accordingly. When it comes to new initiatives, we don't fear failure - we measure everything so we can learn from our mistakes and use those lessons to continue to grow.
**What skills will you bring to the role?**
This role lends itself towards an analytical and planning-focused marketer. Creativity is always going to be required, but the ability to correctly plan, structure and track the moving parts is what will lead to success. Some important skills this role requires include:
- Ability to create a comprehensive marketing plan - and execute it
- Data analysis and research
- Planning and project management
- Communication and writing
- Campaign strategy, planning and management
- Managing the marketing budget
- Understanding of available marketing channels and how to use them in an integrated manner
