Your Role
As a Senior Project Architect, you will play an essential role in
shaping the creative vision of architectural projects from concept to approval
. Working closely with the Principals,
you will contribute to the early stages of project development, including concept design, design presentations, and DA - TP submissions
. Collaborating with clients, stakeholders, and project teams, you will help create innovative and sustainable architectural solutions.
Responsibilities:
* Concept Design:
Lead the conceptualisation and creative design process, delivering innovative design solutions that meet client briefs and exceed expectations.
* Development Applications:
Contribute to the DA - TP design process, including schematic design and preparation of DA - TP documentation.
* Presentation and Communication:
Prepare and present design concepts to clients, stakeholders, and internal teams with clarity and confidence.
* Client Collaboration:
Collaborate with clients to refine designs and ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
* Project Coordination:
Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, budgetary constraints, and timelines.
* Client Communication:
Assist as a point of contact for clients, maintaining effective communication and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
What you will bring to the team
* 6 to 8 years of studio experience in architecture in Australia.
* Bachelor or Masters degree in Architecture
* Strong design portfolio showcasing concept design and DA - TP projects
* Revit proficiency – 3 years minimum
* Thorough understanding of NCC and Australian Standards
* Experience in managing client relationships and projects
* Experience in delivering multi-residential/Class 2/3 buildings
* Architect registration is preferred but not required
* Experience in seniors living industry is a plus but not required
