We're after a reliable, hardworking person to help maintain two properties in the Currumbin Valley. This is hands-on work - you'll need to be fit, capable, and ready to put in the effort. The role is 3 days on one property, 1 day on another.
What the job involves:
* Establishing and looking after fruit and veggie gardens
* Designing and building new garden beds for productive and sustainable growing
* Brushcutting, mowing, and general grounds work
* Maintaining and improving existing garden areas
* General handyman jobs as needed
What we're looking for:
* Someone who is capable of establishing, maintaining, and troubleshooting fruit and vegetable gardens (planting, soil health, pest management, seasonal planning, and harvesting).
* Experience in horticulture and permaculture is preferred
* Someone with proven experience in garden/property maintenance
* A self-starter who works hard without needing to be chased
* Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in doing the job properly
* Aligned with clean, organic, and sustainable living
Job details:
* 4 days per week (3 days on one property, 1 day on another)
