Emergency Response and Medical Services Professional
This role involves working as a FIFO (fly-in fly-out) security officer or emergency services officer, ensuring health and safety at tier one mining operations in Western Australia. The position requires flexibility to balance work and personal life.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver emergency medical care and treatment to injured employees
* Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and reports
* Coordinate medical evacuations and referrals for prompt attention
* Collaborate with site management to improve safety protocols and minimize risks
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
* Significant experience as an emergency services officer or paramedic in remote or mining settings
* Strong emergency medical skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure in high-stress situations
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and teamwork
* Commitment to continuous learning and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry standards
* Valid HR drivers license and 8:6 or 7:7 roster availability for flexible scheduling
Essential Qualifications:
* Cert III in Emergency Response and Rescue (for ESOs only)
* Cert IV in Healthcare (for ESOs only)
* Operate and Maintain 4x4 Vehicle Certificate
* Collect Specimens for Drugs of Abuse Testing
* BHP and Rio inductions advantageous for optimal integration
