IND Technology is an award winning powerline monitoring technology company based in Melbourne, New York and Kuala Lumpur. We are looking for a skilled Network Consultant with a strong background in this area and highly motivated to join our team in Melbourne.
This role is ideal for professionals with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic and Computer Systems Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or a closely related field, and at least 3 years of professional and/or consulting experience in electrical distribution, transmission networks, or a related field, with experience working directly with utility companies or similar industries. Previous experience in a leadership or client management role is desirable.
**Knowledge and technical skills**:
Extensive knowledge of electrical distribution and transmission networks, SCADA systems, substation operations, and grid reliability. Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, GIS tools). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in client-facing roles. Familiarity with ISO9001 and ISO27001 standards is essential. Leadership and mentoring skills, especially in overseeing technical teams and managing complex client interactions. Ability to travel for site visits and on-site support.
**The key responsibilities of this job include**:
- Support IND.T's customer success and engineering team by attending regular customer meetings, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction, and acting as a primary point of contact for key clients.
- Respond to customer inquiries and prepare detailed monthly reports on project progress, network performance, and technical insights.
- Assist the management team in developing and refining business processes in line with ISO9001 and ISO27001 standards.
- Conduct site visits to supervise the installation of electrical plant, perform system commissioning, implement updates, and troubleshoot as needed to ensure reliable network performance.
- Contribute to the company's R&D initiatives and product improvement activities, offering insights from field experience and client feedback.
- Take a leading role in strategic client engagements, developing and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders, and proactively identifying and addressing customer needs.
- Oversee complex projects, including planning, resourcing, and execution, ensuring that all project milestones are met and that client expectations are consistently exceeded.
- Mentor and train junior consultants, sharing technical expertise and industry insights to support their professional development and improve team performance.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
