Lead Payroll Operations
The Workforce Shared Services team is seeking experienced and motivated payroll leaders to coordinate timely and accurate payroll services.
* Coordinate the payroll team to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, master data maintenance, statutory reporting, payment processing in line with compliance requirements and SLAs.
* Oversee payroll operations including changes to awards, enterprise agreements, and relevant legislation ensuring appropriate application and communication.
* Monitor and implement control activities including audits, verifications, and reporting to ensure governance and mitigate risk.
* Provide technical support to the team resolving escalated queries and complex payroll issues in collaboration with HR and Finance.
* Coordinate training, onboarding, and capability development for payroll team members maintaining relevant training documentation and plans.
* Contribute to ongoing payroll process improvements and support integration projects including acquisitions or system upgrades.
* Extensive supervisory experience in payroll management with strong technical knowledge, legislative understanding, and change management skills.
* Experience managing payroll under multiple enterprise agreements and industrial awards with excellent leadership and mentoring abilities.
* Able to manage competing priorities perform under pressure and balance stakeholder engagement and clear professional communication skills.
* Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
