Broadly, the role involves creating video and graphics content across broadcast and digital news. Reporting to the News Editor NT, the role will include: Working collaboratively with journalists, producers and directors to achieve excellent and creative visual treatment of news stories. Delivering distinctive video content that adds significant value to the newsroom output across broadcast and digital platforms. High level editing and effects editing in a high-pressure environment. Engaging in News events and issues to develop production ideas and concepts for stories and story projects. Position Description: 50013079 MULTISKILLED OPERATOR About You You have high-level knowledge and advanced skills to edit and create high quality video content and motion graphics and: Sound independent artistic judgement in video editing. Familiarity and experience in use of programs such as Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop. Strong communication skills with an ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of the newsroom team.
