About the role
Easylift Group Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Labourer / Trainee Installer / Offsider to join our team in Cairns, QLD. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading provider of overhead garage door installation and maintenance services. You will play a key role in supporting our skilled installation technicians and learning the trade.
What you'll be doing
1. Assisting experienced technicians with the installation and maintenance of overhead garage doors and related equipment
2. Handling and transporting equipment and materials to and from job sites
3. Preparing job sites and cleaning up after installations
4. Learning the technical aspects of garage door installation and repair
5. Providing general support to the installation team as required
What we're looking for
1. Willingness to learn and develop new skills
2. Good physical fitness and ability to lift heavy equipment
3. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
4. Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
5. Previous experience in a trades or labouring role is desirable but not essential
