AsCustomer Service and logistics Officer you will be responsible for managing inbound sales emails and portals, processing orders into the ERP system, issuing quotes and coordinating transport and delivery of products. You will have a strong focus on acting as the liaison between our customers, internal sales and production teams to ensure seamless services.
This is a full-time position with a competitive remuneration package including base salary and superannuation.
Main Responsibilities
* Respond in a professional and timely manner to sales enquiries
* Utilise an ERP system to enter and acknowledge customer orders and communicate with customers
* Prepare and send accurate quotations for parts and products upon request, liaise with internal teams on pricing and availability, and resolve customer issues
* Organize and schedule transport for customer orders, ensuring timely dispatch and delivery.
* Generate the required shipping documents and coordinate with the stores team to ensure accurate and efficient dispatch. Resolve any transport-related issues or delays promptly
* Maintain records, produce order/delivery reports, and perform general sales/logistics administration
* Provide general administration support when necessary: stock control, production support, purchasing and invoice processing, supplier coordination, and logistics assistance
About You
To be successful in this role you will possess:
* Prior experience in customer service or sales support, ideally in manufacturing
* Experience organizing freight or transport logistics
* Strong communication, organisational and multi-tasking skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems, with high accuracy in data entry
* Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, ability to multitask
