Prosecutions Support Officer Role
This role involves working as part of a team to support prosecutions within the council. The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills and be able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Assist with Council Prosecutions: Work closely with the council prosecutor to prepare and present cases in court, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
* Maintain the Council Prosecution Database: Ensure the database is accurately updated and maintained, including recording case outcomes and updating relevant documents.
* Prepare Court Documents: Prepare and review court documents, including summonses, warrants and other legal documents.
* Record and Administer Court Files: Accurately record and administer court files, including storing and retrieving documents as required.
* Provide Administration Support: Provide administration support to the team, including responding to telephone and personal enquiries, and providing accurate and sound advice to solicitors and members of the public.
