The role
The main focus of this role is to use specialised equipment and perform manual handling tasks to prepare coal samples and conduct laboratory testing.
You will also be involved in simulating coal production processes to evaluate the properties of coal samples.
What's needed?
Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling tasks
Previous laboratory or sample preparation experience (any field) is welcome but not required
Certificate III or IV in laboratory skills (preferred but not required)
A methodical and well-organised approach to work
Ability to pass an Order 43 medical examination
Valid NSW driver's licence
Suitable for candidates seeking a career change with transferable skills from hospitality or retail
Willingness to work shift work, including weekends, and overtime
Reliability and good communication skills
