If you're someone who blends creativity with strategic thinking and loves turning ideas into actions that connect people to purpose, this could be the perfect role for you.About the Role:As the Team Leader - Engagement & Culture, you'll guide the direction and delivery of programs that ensure our people feel heard, valued, and inspired. You'll play a central role in building a strong organisational culture shaped through meaningful engagement, clear and consistent internal communication, and a shared sense of purpose.From championing the employee voice, to crafting compelling internal campaigns and celebrating important milestones, you'll help create a workplace that truly reflects our values and vision. Whether you're rolling out a strategy, planning an event, or developing meaningful communications, your work will directly influence how our people experience life at Council-every day.Over the 12-month term, your focus areas will include:Leading the implementation of initiatives from our newly endorsed Internal Communication and Engagement Strategy.Project managing our biennial Employee Experience Survey-translating insights into real, positive change across the organisation.Bringing people together through events that matter-think Town Halls, R U OK? Day, Movember, International Women's Day, and Service Recognition celebrations.Collaborating with stakeholders to design and deliver thoughtful, strategic communication plans and engaging content that cuts through-across channels and diverse audiences.What We Offer:This is more than just a job, it's an opportunity to make a lasting impact on the culture and engagement of our people.
