Title: ILS Analyst (Technical Publication / Author)
Location: Garden Island, Sydney.
The Opportunity
The ILS Analyst (Technical Publication/Author) reports directly to the Project Lead to produce, update and integrate technically accurate, standards‐compliant maintenance and support documentation that reflects the uplifted product baseline for the Products Being Supported (PBS), enabling safe, effective sustainment activities under the Maritime Sustainment Model (MSM). Within the scope of the project, the ILS Analyst authors and updates assigned technical documentation in accordance with Defence and commercial standards, ensuring publication content is consistent with validated system data, maintenance concepts and configuration baselines, while supporting concurrent delivery activities across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities
* Develop, update and amend assigned technical publications (including TMP, SA and ANP change pages) in accordance with approved standards, project scope and schedule.
* Ensure technical publications accurately reflect validated system data, maintenance concepts, certification requirements and approved configuration changes resulting from the baseline uplift.
* Collaborate closely with SQEPs, LSAR Analysts and Configuration Officers to resolve technical ambiguity and ensure consistency between source data, analysis outputs and published documentation.
* Manage review cycles, comments and corrective actions arising from internal quality checks and stakeholder reviews, maintaining traceability and document integrity.
* Support publication release and incorporation activities in CMT‐U (or equivalent systems), ensuring products are suitable for handover to ACS CLCM for ongoing maintenance.
Essential Qualifications
* Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Logistic Support Analysis within the Defence maritime domain.
* Minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience in Integrated Logistics Support within the Defence maritime domain.
* Navy Technical Risk Management experience.
* Verbal and Written Communication in a team environment.
* Eligibility for ITAR clearance of relevant ship systems.
Desirable Qualifications
* Certificate IV in the maintenance and operation domain.
* NRT Code TLIX0028X – Develop technical publications to support integrated logistics.
* NRT Code TLIX0031X – Provide maintenance engineering support in a Defence integrated logistics environment.
* NRT Code TLIX0032X – Undertake configuration management to support integrated logistics.
* NRT Code TLIX0034X – Undertake supply support in integrated logistics.
