As an Internal Audit Graduate at RSM, you will gain valuable experience supporting the delivery of financial and operational projects, engaging with clients, and working directly on client sites. You will also develop your skills in preparing reports and presentations, while gaining exposure to a wide range of sectors and industries.
Key responsibilities:
* Developing foundational audit skills within the RSM audit process
* Understanding and documenting accounting systems and internal control environments
* Providing advice on implementing effective and secure internal controls
* Advising on managing core operational risks and improving business reliability
* Executing tests of internal controls and substantive audit procedures in line with RSM policies
* Maintaining accurate personal documentation, including training records, timesheets and expense reports
About You:
You’re someone who is curious, motivated and eager to build a career in internal audit. You bring initiative, professionalism and a strong sense of integrity to everything you do. You’ll thrive in this role if you:
* Are studying or have completed a degree in Commerce, Finance, Environmental studies or another relevant discipline
* Are interested in pursuing further qualifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or Institute of Internal Auditors certification
* Communicate clearly and confidently with clients and colleagues
* Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Work effectively both independently and within a team
* Bring motivation, initiative and a willingness to take responsibility
* Are eager to understand how professional services operate and interested in business development
* Are a proactive self‑starter who contributes ideas and collaborates well
* Are curious about clients’ industries and motivated to understand their business needs
