Job Description
We are seeking individuals to provide in-home support services to our valued customers. This role is suitable for both entry-level and qualified candidates, with personal experience and transferable skills also considered.
Our team provides in-home aged care and disability support services, supporting people to live independently. We have been doing this for over 15 years, helping older people and those living with disabilities to maintain independence and stay connected to their communities.
* Personal care: showering, dressing, grooming, and medication assistance
* Social support and transportation for activities, shopping, and medical appointments
* Domestic assistance: light cleaning, laundry, and meal prep
* Supporting customers with aids and equipment
* Assisting customers with complex needs
* Monitoring well-being and reporting progress
* Providing updates on customer progress after each service
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
* Reliable with a commitment of at least 3 days a week
* Ability to build rapport and maintain good relationships
* Comfortable using technology (e.g., mobile apps) for rostering and recording notes
* Ability to travel and transport customers as needed
* NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
* Current First Aid and CPR certifications
* Current Australian Driver's License
* Reliable, insured vehicle
* Smartphone with internet access
* Current Working with Children Check (desired)
* Certificate III or IV in relevant fields (desired)
