Anglicare has an exciting opportunity to provide a 4-year sponsorship to Registered Nurses currently anywhere within Australia on a 482 visa .
We are currently sponsoring for two of our Residential Aged Care Homes, 1 located in Hervey Bay - Kirami Residential Aged Care Home, the other located in Bundaberg - Meilene Residential Aged Care Home.
The sponsorship includes relocation costs (within Australia only; this will not include international applicants).
About the role:
Both of these opportunities are offering full-time permanent employment. If you are successful in the role, you will be sponsored for a 4year period with Anglicare.
You will provide care and support to our residents whilst working as a vital member of the clinical team. Anglicare Southern Queensland pride themselves on providing a "Home like Environment" for its residents and your contribution will ensure that this model is maintained.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Coordinate, supervise and monitor delivery of care by care staff (including but not limited to ENs, AINs, PCWs and other support staff) and delegate tasks appropriately.
* Communicate and liaise with the residents' GPs and other Allied Health Professionals.
* Administer all medications in accordance with the Drug Health and Poisons Act and the GP's prescribed orders.
* Undertake direct care to Residents in a safe and competent manner.
* Coordinate hospital transfers and outside appointments.
* Effectively communicate with and inform families of residents status, progress, care plan etc
About you:
* Must have some experience as a Registered Nurse within Australia
* Must have a completed Bachelors in Nursing
* Must have current AHPRA registration (Nursing)
* National Police clearance
* NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
* Full Covid vaccinations, Hepatitis B vaccinations and Flu vaccinations
* Aged Care experience an advantage, but not required
