About the Role
This is a newly created role supporting the Quality Managers throughout ANZ and SE Asia, with the coordination of suppliers both current and prospective for one of their key customers. The focus is to gain a higher level of compliance from packaging suppliers who need to meet specific KPI's and food safety standards. Key responsibilities will focus on complaint management and follow up, and supplier and materials qualification and management.
Key Duties include:
- Establish and maintain relationships with the Customer so that timely communication of information about product performance and safety is delivered.
- Report root cause analysis action plans and collate monthly metrics.
- Identify customer needs and suggest workflow improvements.
- Lead continuous improvement in quality performance across product categories including supplier QA reviews and audits (GMP, HACCP), quality scorecards and GFSI certification.
Skills and Experience
Ideally you will have at least 3 years' experience in QA within a food manufacturing and/or packaging facility where you have taken responsibility for the production of raw materials through to finished goods. You will have a technical background covering numerous types of packaging materials -plastics, paper, and cardboard, and involvement in quality reviews and audits with a working knowledge of GMP and HACCP. Key competencies like clear communication, attention to detail, exceptional organizational and project management skills will be highly regarded, plus the ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
