Cafe Moka is a warm, creative café known for its freshly baked breads, cakes, pastries and specialty coffee. Key Responsibilities
* Prepare doughs, batters, fillings and other baking ingredients according to recipes.
* Decorate, glaze, or finish cakes and pastries when required (icing, toppings, presentation).
* Package and present baked goods attractively for sale or display.
* Monitor ovens, baking times and temperatures to ensure quality and consistency.
* Maintain a clean, hygienic and organized kitchen and bakery workspace.
* Handle inventory: track supplies, manage stock levels of flour, ingredients, and other baking materials.
* Collaborate with café staff (front‑of‑house, café team) to coordinate orders and ensure smooth service.
* Occasionally help with early morning preparation or special orders.
Required Qualifications & Skills
* 2–3 years of experience working as a baker, pastry chef, or in a bakery/café kitchen (preferred but not strictly mandatory for an enthusiastic, trainable candidate).
* Good knowledge of baking techniques, recipes, and processes.
* Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently.
* Familiarity with bakery equipment (mixers, ovens, baking trays, decorating tools).
* Attention to detail in taste, texture, presentation, and hygiene standards.
* Good time‑management skills, ability to work under pressure, especially during busy periods.
* Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and flexible shifts.
* Teamwork spirit, friendly attitude, and good communication skills.
* A positive approach to cleanliness and food‑safety standards.
