About The Role
The Office Administration Trainee works within a school environment to support the efficient delivery of administration, reception, and finance services, contributing to the effective and smooth operation of the site.
Skills
Deliver a range of administration functions to support the school.
Assist with financial tasks, including processing revenue and expenditure and maintaining accurate records.
Produce data records (electronic and manual) that are up to date by accurately preparing and entering new information.
Answer enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Special Conditions
The trainee will be required to complete a Certificate III in Business qualification.
A probationary period will apply to this position.
The successful applicant is required to undertake Responding to Risk of Harm, Abuse and Neglect Training (RRHAN-EC) Masterclass course.
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department of Human Services (DHS) Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to confirmation of appointment and renewed every five years before expiry.
37.5 hours per week. Generally, this involves starting at 8:00am and finishing at 4:00pm. Some out of hours work may be required.
Sites will include both metro and regional locations.

Remuneration
$17,842 - $46,072 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12 %) and leave loading
Note: The salary level will be dependent on the year of schooling completed as well as number of years out of school.
Additional Note
This is a 12-month full-time traineeship, and the trainee will undertake a Certificate III in Business.
