Our client is a leading supplier of industrial, medical, and specialty gases, along with related equipment and services across Australia, serving vital sectors like healthcare, manufacturing (welding, cutting, electronics), food & beverage, and oil & gas, providing everything from bulk gases via pipeline to high-purity cylinders, known for extensive distribution, safety focus, and innovation.
An opportunity for a motivated and reliable individual to join our client's site, conducting chemical testing, analysis and validation of gases and related products.
What this role means for you:
* Monday to Friday - 8hr shifts with start and finish times negotiable
* $34.42/hour, plus 13% Superannuation
* Regular, ongoing, reliable work

Responsibilities of this role:
* Conduct chemical testing, analysis, and validation of gases and related products.
* Perform quality control checks in line with our client's standards and specifications.
* Maintain accurate laboratory records, reports, and documentation.
* Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for product or process issues.
* Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
* Assist with calibration, maintenance, and validation of laboratory equipment.
* Collaborate with production, engineering, and HSE teams as required.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
* Experience in an industrial laboratory, manufacturing or gas/chemical environment.
* Strong understanding of quality systems and laboratory procedures
* High attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
* Ability to follow strict safety and compliance procedures.
* Ability to manually handle large gas cylinders at times.
* Able to pass a Medical and DAS
* Must be able to present a clean National Police Clearance
* Live within 30 minutes of Wetherill Park due to traffic and travel constraints, regular to this area.
