**General Duties**
- Health and Safety Responsibilities:
- Adhere to high Work Safety standards in line with WHS Legislation.
- Ensure the preservation of public property and the natural environment.
- Only work with relevant skills, knowledge, training, and experience or under proper supervision.
- Conduct safety checks for any tools, plant and access equipment before use.
- Be aware of health and safety risks on-site and follow site rules and procedures.
- **Production Activities**:
- Assist with site build and maintenance activities directed by the site management team, including, but not limited to, lifting, carrying, painting, installation of site infrastructure, décor, furniture, general maintenance, unloading trucks, rigging of flown elements, plumbing infrastructure, basic carpentry, and assisting technical staff with lighting, sound, and AV equipment.
- Troubleshoot any site issues that may arise.
- **Incident Reporting and Hazard Management**:
- Report any risks promptly to the site manager or your supervisor. Identify and assist in completing any reports on-site for incidents, hazards, or near misses.
- Collaborate with Site Management and other relevant personnel to eliminate identified hazards and maintain a safe work environment.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness and compliance among all site workers.
- **Tool Management and Site Neatness**:
- Maintain cleanliness of welfare amenities.
- Ensure the Workshop area is tidy and organised, and equipment is back in the right spot each day.
- Use tools correctly and return them after use to the store area.
- Clean the working area as you complete each section.
**Specific Duties - Production Crew**
- **Coordinating with** **Production Management team**:
- Assist site management in completing site safety checklists and daily fixups.
- **Site Installation**:
Assisting the site department with the installation of site infrastructure, including but not limited to:
- Loading and unloading trucks and other various delivery vehicles.
- Loading and unloading of shipping containers.
- Ongoing maintenance of plumbing infrastructure.
- Ongoing maintenance of power infrastructure.
- General maintenance and organising of site equipment.
- Assist with traffic management. i.e. trucks, people, bikes.
- **Exhibition Installation**:
Assisting the Exhibition department with install of exhibition elements, including but not limited to:
- Lifting and carrying.
**-**Using a variety of equipment to build/unbuild exhibition elements.
- **Technical Installation**:
Assisting the Technical department with the installation of technical equipment, including but not limited to:
- Building trusses and other temporary structures.
- Hanging lights, speakers, projectors, cabling, and accessories.
- Assisting in the rigging of flown elements.
- Running sound, signal, and heavy mains cable.
- **Look & Feel Installation**:
Assisting the Look & Feel department with the installation of scenic and décor elements, including but not limited to:
- Furniture,
- Flats and other theatrical set elements,
- Flooring including carpet, vinyl, and other floor coverings,
- Props,
- Signage,
- Paint, cladding, and other scenic treatments.

Pay: From $31.23 per hour

**Experience**:
- site / event / build /manual labour: 1 year (preferred)
