About The Role
In this role you will contribute to and be part of the community - based, multidisciplinary area health team to support clients and carers to achieve an optimum level of health independence through:
Comprehensive, co-ordinated and integrated multidisciplinary services,
Provision of client - centred care to community members from a broad range of backgrounds.
Contribute to the development and delivery of high quality, cost effective community-based Podiatry service.
Contribute to meeting the program and area health team key performance indicators (KPI's).
All activities of the position will reflect current best practice standards for Podiatry. The position will operate according to relevant legislation, Barwon Health policies, programs and department guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Provide evidence-based, multidisciplinary consumer care, including assessment, care planning, treatment, review, and measuring outcomes.
Independently manage a day-to-day clinical caseload, ensuring all work is completed accurately, on time, and in line with Barwon Health policies and consumer care standards.
Demonstrate leadership and professional collaboration, contributing to committees, service development, clinical policies, and working effectively with stakeholders.
Support ongoing learning and development, including supervision of junior staff/students, participation in quality improvement, research activities, and maintaining professional registration and CPD requirements.
What We're Looking For
Current registration with the Podiatry Registration Board of Australia.
At least 2 years' experience in a community setting, with the ability to practice independently and manage clinical responsibilities.
Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills, including building strong working relationships and collaborating with other health professionals.
Ability to work independently while consulting and collaborating with others, delivering culturally safe and inclusive care aligned with Barwon Health values.
