The Role This position is part of CTB’s Culture and Pathways Team, a friendly and forward-leaning team who work together to provide cultural leaders and build workforce capability; creating systemic change, so that all employees can thrive. The Project Officer contributes to the effective delivery of major strategic workplace cultural transformation frameworks, high-profile employment programs and is an important contributor to delivering ACTPS commitments under the ACT Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Agreement 2019-28 and Priority Reform Three of the National Agreement on Closing the Gap: Transforming Government Organisations. As part of the team, you will apply your skills and experience to support workforce development and cultural capability strategies, career pathway programs, and frameworks which drive the ACTPS to be as inclusive, progressive, and diverse as the community we serve. In this role you will: Contribute to the improvement and innovation of products, services and operational business systems that support the vision of the Cultural Transformation Branch. Coordinate regular reporting and briefing requests in a highly responsive environment with strong attention to detail, which includes analysing and gathering data that helps to inform evidence-based decisions. Develop and maintain direct relationships with internal and external stakeholders, particularly Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander ACTPS employees and Cultural Advisors. Support the facilitation of co-design and creative problem-solving workshops to identify and communicate opportunities for improvements in systemic cultural transformation. Manage and deliver projects in a timely manner in relation to building cultural capability and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander recruitment, attraction, and retention in the ACTPS. Provide peer support and training to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander employees who may rotate into the Cultural Transformation Branch on secondments. Work with the ACTPS Inclusion and Belonging team to keep our internal communications platforms fresh and up to date.
