Catalyst Ability is currently seeking a reliable and compassionate Casual Disability Support Worker. The successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of person-centred support services that empower people with a disability to achieve their goals and engage in activities of interest in a safe and supported environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide assistance to participants with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, household tasks, manual handling, and transportation in a wheelchair accessible vehicle or employee vehicle
* Provide assistance which increases community participation and individual autonomy
* Providing compassionate and respectful support
* Maintain accurate documentation records of participant interactions and services provided
* Adhering to all relevant policies and procedures
What We're Looking For: We are seeking a reliable and compassionate support worker who can demonstrate:
* Ability to commit to deliver services to people living with a disability
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Positive attitude and enthusiasm toward improving the lives of our participants
* Experience in Disability Support or relevant industry (desired)
Essential Requirements:
* Must have availability to work early morning shifts starting at 6am
* Employee Working with Children Check
* Current National Police Check
* Valid working rights in Australia
* Current Driver's License
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Current First Aid & CPR
