YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY STARTS HERE Skillinvest is seeking an experienced Road Worker for a position with one of Victoria's leading providers in road maintenance, construction and civil works. Based in Lilydale, you'll be part of a supportive and dynamic crew, working outdoors and operating a range of tools and machinery to help maintain our road networks.
BENEFITS Casual (regular 38 hours/week) Base $37.26 per hour + overtime available
PPE supplied & maintained annually KEY RESPONSIBILITIES General Manual Labour
Compacting, leveling, and spreading of materials Routine road maintenance and emergency response Truck driving and obstruction removal
Use of power tools and machinery ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS Construction Induction White Card
Medium Rigid (MR) Truck Licence Traffic Management Certificates (TC1/2& TMI1/2 at minimum) Demonstrated experience in road or civil works
Physically fit and capable of manual labour Available for after-hours emergency call-outs ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Plant Operator Certificate Current First Aid Certificate
Chainsaw and Polesaw Training Successful candidates will be required to undertake pre-employment checks including a Medical Assessment, Drug and Alcohol Screening, Police Check and Driver History Check. FOR MORE INFORMATION
