ConsultANZ is looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager to join a client-side consultancy in Tauranga, working on projects across the civil, construction, and renewable energy sectors. Main Duties: Manage commercial activities for client-side infrastructure and construction projects. Prepare cost estimates during concept and design stages. Support procurement processes and tender evaluations. Manage payment claims, variations, and contract administration. Provide cost advice and commercial reports to clients. Lead and support junior team members with measurement and estimating tasks. Work with consultants and contractors on project cost planning. Assist in preparing full project estimates (typically up to $5M). Requirements: Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related field. 10 years of experience in Quantity Surveying or commercial management. Experience working for a contractor (civil or building). Strong experience in contract management and project delivery. Estimating experience is preferred; knowledge of CostX is beneficial but not required. Strong communication skills and confidence working with clients.
