We are seeking a self-motivated **Accounts Payable Officer** with a strong service ethos, to join our JELD-WEN team, based at Rowville, VIC.
You will need to be organised and self-motivated, with excellent planning skills. Strong people skills with the ability to liaise with a range of people at different levels in the organisation. You must demonstrate a professional approach to managing the confidentiality of all communications and documentation in this role and an assertive nature that will follow through where necessary.
**Key Tasks**:
- Processing Vendor Invoices accurately and timely
- Month-end activities
- Assist with input and processing of stocktake counts
- Scanning and filing client invoices
- Process new vendor set-up
- Maintaining systems and processes in line with company policies and procedures
**Key skills & knowledge**:
Ideally, you should have a few years well rounded and hands-on experience in a finance administration role. Furthermore, you will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Proficiency in using computer systems and programs - MS Office skills essential
- A systematic, methodical and process-orientated approach to your work
- Pride yourself on thoroughness and attention to detail
- Flexibility and willingness to support others
- Ability to work well in a small team environment as well as work autonomously
- Have a good customer service ethic when dealing with both internal and external customers
